These building blocks are the size sometimes called "kindergarten blocks."
Each piece is a multiple of the basic one and three-eighths inch cube,
helping children understand ratio and proportion through play. Because the
blocks use this standard unit, they are compatible with other kindergarten
block sets, making it possible to expand your set or replace lost blocks
more easily. Each block is cut from native White Birch (actually a bit
lighter in color than in the picture), sanded smooth with the edges and
corners rounded. The blocks are finished with a natural, safe, linseed oil
finish. These are blocks that will last for generations of creative play. Each
set of blocks comes in its own wagon, making pick-up and storage easy
and part of play.

I don't mass-produce my blocks; instead, I make each set as a unit. For this reason, the shapes and
numbers of blocks may vary slightly. If you have a question or request about one of my sets, please
contact me. I usually have some larger sets in stock (up to 200) pieces for daycare centers etc. Ask.
